Alameda

Passing through La Coruña, we decided to eat at a popular restaurant and stopped at Alameda. The service was attentive and professional, and the food was a pleasure. We made a reservation, and even though we were a little late, they didn't hesitate to wait for us until the service was over. Thank you very much.

A typical diner located in the heart of A Coruña, this time I was pleasantly surprised. We started with octopus with cachelos, which was excellent, and fried eggs with ham and baked potatoes that were delicious. For dessert, I tried acorn squash, which was delicious. With a couple of beers, bread, and coffee with drops, they charged us €36: I think it's a very good price. I'd also like to highlight the waitress's work, who served us very professionally despite the restaurant being full. Highly recommended.

Very good service and food. Four kids from Barcelona who had just arrived in the city were looking for a place to eat, and this place was a sure hit. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The waitress who served us, Diancy, was unbeatable, very attentive and friendly. 100% recommended

Good food with local specialties. Welcoming and very helpful service, accommodating a large group without a reservation and allowing us to pay separately. Prices are a bit high, but in line with the area and the quality of the food (a mixed charcuterie board and octopus with potatoes or fried calamari for €30 per person, including beer, dessert, and coffee). Friendly and quick staff.

My partner and I have been there for lunch and dinner several times this summer, and I highly recommend it because it's home-cooked, even the desserts. The cheesecake and the triple chocolate are delicious, but any dish is a pleasure. I recommend it for lunch or dinner. They have an outdoor terrace and an indoor lounge, and a good wine list, too.

We'd been there a couple of times for a drink and were surprised by the delicious tapas they served us, so we decided to go for a vermouth and a snack. The staff was very attentive, the prices were good, and the quality was excellent. We'll be back.

We found the restaurant by looking for a nearby place with a terrace so we could eat with our dog. It was a great choice. They made sure we were comfortable on the terrace, including several table changes. The food was delicious, and the waiter's service was exceptional. He served us each a tapa of ham, including the dog!, and they treated us to a shot and a sweet treat after the meal. We will definitely return.

The place was amazing, we stopped by chance for lunch, hungry after seeing A Coruña, and what better place. We ordered steamed mussels, Galician-style octopus and tomato with egg and northern tuna. Spectacular quality and price more than justified. For dessert, cheesecake and yogurt, both 100% homemade (it shows...). To each one better. We are on vacation for a week in Galicia and we are already thinking about what day we will return.

The waitress gave us great recommendations on what to order, with very tasty portions of well-prepared grilled octopus, a very natural green salad, and perfect homemade croquettes. The homemade lemon mousse was a plus, and the service was very attentive and beautifully presented.

A good place to enjoy a glass of wine or beer with tapas. They have delicious cured meats. With each drink, they serve a generous pincho (pincho) and offer friendly service.
